How about a good trip in history? Try the historic MO 10 in Kansas City. If the 1934 state map is accurate, the west end was at 6th and Oak in downtown Kansas City. Most maps show its original west end at Armour and Burlington in North Kansas City, following the general route of Armour Road, Winn Road, US 69, Liberty Drive and SR H to Excelsior Springs. The maps below show the portion of the route between Burlington Street and Liberty that are still open to traffic. Numbers on the maps indicate the locations the photos on the three photo pages were taken.

First map is from Burlington to US 69 at I-35 exit 11. The gaps are where the old road was taken out. The one further south is from the opening of Parvin Road; the path is now part of a church property. The one further north is a result of the construction of I-35.

Second map is from US 69 at I-35 exit 13 to just east of MO 33.
