On 27 February 2010, continuing the tour around Kansas City, I took the following photos along MO 150 from Grandview to Lee's Summit. MoDOT is expanding the highway to 4-lanes.
The sequence starts with concrete placement for the stretch from Grand Summit Boulevard to Lumpkins Fork Creek, using a new alignment.

As of the date of this photo, Raytown Road was closed for intersection construction.

About here (the bridge for Lumpkins Fork Creek is just downhill), the new road will tie into the existing road. The existing road will become the eastbound lanes. From here east the grading is just underway.

About here is a transition which will put the westbound lanes on the existing road.

East from about here the expansion uses both sides of the highway. This is in Lee's Summit, where the road will be multilane undivided to MO 291.
